Canon’s Lucia Pro ink was developed by Canon to produce quality images in its range of wide-format printers. The ink produces crisp and sharply defined high quality printed images and graphics that are vibrant and long-lasting.
Lucia Pro ink is a high-quality pigment ink developed by Canon. The Ink uses microencapsulated colourants that allow tight ink spacing/placement when printing on printable media. This has made it possible to increase the density of colourants on the paper and achieve an expanded colour gamut.
The ink is supplied in individual ink cartridges as either an 8 cartridge or a 12 cartridge set. The model of the printer determines the configuration, the number of cartridges in the set. Each cartridge is replaceable individually when the cartridge is empty.
The 12 cartridge set uses a Chroma optimizer cartridge, which is a transparent ink that helps with light reflection issues on printed output. The Chroma optimizer ink gives blacks that look black with colour contrast maximised from light to dark printed areas of colours.
